Hi. I am Omisan, guild leader of the Tarsis Shriners. I would like to address a few issues as to the plane raid debacle last night. We knew people were on the plane. We knew that the plane had been broken on and off for days with tons of people being rotated in and out. Since the people who were originally there were long gone, we rationalized that it was pretty much an open forum. When we asked if we could be involved, Bubu, an accidentily guilded snotnose piece of shit who was kicked out for hoarding equipment, made trouble for us purely out of spite. Or maybe he didn't. Whatever. We were turned down because we were Shriners. Im not even going to try to justify what we did as nice, but there are like two planes worth bothering with, and one is totally impossible to have more than one group of people in. We were informed by SECRET SHRINER SYMPATHIZERS that the vast majority of the Fear Plane happened to be dead at that moment. We sent a scout in and there were only a few people there, who screamed bloody murder. No surprise there. In most people's OPINIONS you dont want to have multiple groups doing fear plane but it sounded like a special situation, so we decided to take advantage of it. I can give you all some weak justifications about there not being enough to do on the server for high levels etc, and they really are the cause of this, but the facts are, I have about thirty or forty RAVENING POWERGAMING GEAR FEVERED Shriners who need something to do, and if we arent going to be invited to do stuff because some of you people think I made a bad joke, and people want to keep a camp for DAYS, then FUCK YOU. I have to get these sonofabitches off my back, and I fear them SO much more than I care about morons like Gilgamel cussing at me. Yeah I might be burning some bridges, but who wants to be friends with IDIOTS. In closing, I do humbly apologize to the people that we probably messed up in the fear plane with our bumbling. Kaane and Riguel and their people in praticular. As far as the ranger who for some reason cannot be named, Gilgamel, when you don't even listen to your guilds orders and get them killed, well.... LUV U MEAN IT HAVE YOUR PEOPLE CALL MY PEOPLE WE'LL DO LUNCH Omisan PS if anyone is in the fear plane give me a tell I still need to get my corpse. PPS HAHA yeah right. I was the one that was doing the inviting yesterday and seriously what I told Wauke was true. We had about 14 tanks and only about 4 healers and 4 casters. I did not refuse him on the basis that he was a shriner. I have honestly nothing against you all. I have grouped with you Omisan in Cazic as i Remember and you were a good guy. When you guys zoned in yesterday, if you had asked again we would of gladly accepted your help, considering we were not doing that great at the end. The reason Why we all got mad, is we assumed the worst. In the future send me a tell and I will gladly invite you guys to anything we have planned. I am grateful to Wauke, Delilah, Dryn and the rest of you guys that helped some of us get our gear. If you guys ever need help just let me know. /salute the Shriner CR Team P.S. Gerome you are an Idiot, instead of trying to fix your guild image you are just making it worse. You are always the first one to make the stupid, smartass remarks everyone is tired of. You never have anything important to say, and you obviously never listen to your guildmembers, if you did you would never make such moronic posts. I am sorry, this was post was not intended to flame, but Gerome gets to me after a while.

Who said I was trying to fix my guild image? I don't think my image or my guild's image needs fixing. I do think that several retards around here need a ripping into now and again, and I will continue to argue against false allegations about me and my guild. Cope. Before people start flaming id like to point out the good things happened instead of the bad... We got well over 15 pieces of Armor the two days i was there. It had lasted a good while. I was the leader of the whole raid from the point Nothing spawned to the point where everyone died. This is how it went; I told everyone to tell me who they are inviting and when they are coming, Kaane was pulling the PERFECT pulls ive ever seen he was puller for at least 30 hours straight doing a HELL OF A JOB. Thats speaking for everyone, i know noone has anything bad about Kaanes pulling. Well anyways kaane was pulling 2 things if i can remember, A Shiverback and a Glare lord if i can remember, thats when someone zoned in and pulled 2 scareling on the camp EEK! there was only 19 or so people in the whole zone and everyone died because there was at least 5 or 6 mobs i dont know where the other Glare lord came and all but as soon as i saw that i was /telling any cleric and/or Paladin i could to sit and camp. Mainly to have CR easier. But im guessing they didnt here. I have nothing against Shriners really, Just they need to ask before barging into a zone and pulling more mobs closer to the camp site. But over all Chai Wauke Kaane Bubu Toloc and every other Corpse puller did a damn good job. just i had to log because i couldnt stay on any longer (dad set a playing time for me). I left my corpse in the zone sadly, But wouldnt have if i could of stayed longer. I ALWAYS stay for Corpse retrievals because i am a Teleporter and care about other peoples health in a way none of you know. I spent 2000pp on Jewelry for the clerics to cast Symbol of Naltron on the tanks and anyone that asked i think i bought a total of 160 peridots and 422 jaspers, 11pp per Peridot and 6gold per jasper. Overall it was a good raid till it ended and would like to thank everyone that came. P.S. If anyone has anything against Bubu please group with him so you can actually see how he is, hes not a bad person and im sure he made some mistakes in the past for i did too and am trying to recover from it. I retract my earlier post about Gerome. Now that I think of it after my blood is cooled, I don't really know him. So my statement is solely based on his posts. That being the case I do not think I have enough information to to properly judge him. One thing I would hope he'd learn is to filter his writing, and make it more peaceful in nature, because in its current form it only makes people like me wanna FLAME. enough said.

not disobey a guild order....
I saw approximately 3 groups of shriners zone in. I may not be the most experienced person in PoF, but I've been on 5 break to repop raids and a couple of raids just for a few hours, and I know a little about the zone. The only thing anyone in the guild said was the shriners are about to zone in and try to get a foothold in the zone. At that time, I thought "What the hell, I know the zone my corpse is in a good position, I'm sure they could use another tank, and if not, I'll just get my shit and camp." All was going well, I had looted my corpse, superior camoed, told the guild the repop didn't look too bad and we might be able to get this corpse recovery done. About this time I get the you are about to appear message, hit camp, and someone brings a scareling. It gets to 10 before I appear and am agroed. I die, it's 20 minutes before I get back to Ferroott due to a crash, I've lost my level and I can no longer sup camo, so I wait by the spec cave with everyone else. I'm really starting to believe the way to do this break in thing is to send in 1 or 2 people at a time sup camoed and have them sneak to the ledge and camp(ie, not take the most direct path and actually look for mobs). I've done it 4 times now and made it every time, 3 times under full zone repop. So don't go accusing me of getting anyone killed or disobeying orders, usually the only person I get killed is myself(I'm quite good at that). As far as whether or not you trained the ledge, I should have said I had HEARD you trained the ledge(from multiple sources who were there mind you but still not first hand knowledge). Perhaps these people assumed that because the scareling to the ledge coincided with you zoning in(again, perhaps this was just a coincidence) but all I heard was multiple guildmembers and others who were there saying the ledge was trained. As for any shriners opinions of me, I personally couldn't give less of a shit about anything. Alone I know most of you are nice enough people(I was talking to Zarkhor yesterday while I was sneaking to ledge to get my corpse and we were joking around) but SOME of you are always rude and discourteous no matter what the situation. I personally thanked wauke and chai and a few other shriners when they bailed us out during Drall's failed raid, but that does not excuse what happened Monday night and you can feign ignorance all you want, those of us who were there know what happened. I'll leave the peacemaking to Kaane as he seems to want to make friends but some of you even admitted you were wrong to zone in so I don't see where you have a leg to stand on. Maybe someone will decide you need to share the plane at some point while you are there and you'll figure out Gerome plane's are not like normal zones. The slightest error by one person can lead to 6 hour corpse recovery missions involving 20 or more people, and what other area that can have that big a problem is camped by multiple groups? None. Perhaps if you'd asked to bring in a raiding party we could have coordinated it and it would have worked out, but by not asking you definately showed no respect or courtesy to anyone who was there so I hope you reallize that by doing so you lessened the chance of anyone showing you respect or cothings the hard way when it is much simpler and efficient to simply urtesy. I don't understand why you must continue to do cooperate, but that is your prerogative. Seeya ingame all.... Gilg

Just a little note here and I'm going to use the vein of thought that Omisan put forth regarding burning some bridges. I don't have any aformentioned problems with TS and, in fact, as much as I do not adhere to their ideals I do find them rather interesting. It takes quite a bit of guts to build a guild based on 'sass' I must admit. Not only is it a gutsy move, but some TS roleplay their position exceedingly well... and *yes* I do find this to be a function of roleplay, believe it or not. Read some of their posts and you'll find some blazing examples of rp brilliance... apologies blended with honesty, sarcasm, and underlying hints of humor. Some of these TS fellows are smart... damn smart. They might not have many friends, but they are intelligent people. But Gerome? Please... did he fail the entrance exam, but got in anyway due to some under the table nuggies or what? Ugh, ever since I was in grade school the term 'retards' was considered below the belt, generally indicitive of a white trash, predjudiced mentallity best left to the lowest common denominator of society. Omisan, you can be an absolute poet at times... why don't you put a string on your little Gerome puppy dog until he either gains the intelligence or insight to represent TS on this board as he tries to do (and you do very well)... just put the hormone raged, adolescent into stasis for awhile until his pubes stop growing and he isn't subject to such wild, meaningless temper tantrums. There ya go... my little bridge. It's no more evil and insidious than "Gerome, I don't like you much, based on your posts." On a side note, if you were to look at my post history, you would find that all but one were responses to people trashing me or the Shriners in general. The only exception I recall to is the one time I singled out Drall for flames, but that was because he thoroughly got my irish up online the night before. Sure, as a guild sometimes we do things that tend to make people irratated. When some weenie comes here to post about how rotten and evil we are, I respond. More often than not, these weenies post gross exaggerations and/or outright lies, and thus merit some form of response. I don't reduce myself to name-calling, as said weenies do, but rather I prefer to pick apart and expose their posts for the bullshit they really are. It doesn't surprise me that these few recent posts today calling me bad names are all from people I've spoken negatively about. Oh well, thats what I get for speaking my mind. And yes, I do choose my words to deliberately annoy my provoker at least as much as they've annoyed me. Might not be the best PR, but it sends the point home a lot better than "Please, Mr. Weenie, stop calling us names!" So I admit it, I'm proud of this group of friends I run with, and when people trash us, I get angry. If you're one of the folks that has been on the receiving end of one of my tirades, maybe you should have tried talking online civilly before coming to a public forum and asking to be responded to. If you're just a witness to my tirades, and get offended at the verocity I tend to display, well maybe you should mind your own business and move on. And if you're one of the many silent people that agreed with me online about how certain people here needed to get ripped into, thanks for the moral support, anyway.

Gerome, I wish you would have caught my original complaint, but perhaps it's my own fault for being too wordy. I don't respect people who use the word 'retard' as a name calling mechanism. Despite the dictionary definition, it's a prejudicial slang term for the mentally handicapped. I place it right next to 'fag' and 'nigger'. Good response, though. Let me show you where your logic fails. Chalk up another mark on the Gerome blackboard that makes me wonder just what you really are trying to accomplish sometimes. Good memory, though, some of the Drall stuff confuses me. There's a difference between 'sass' and forgetting that you are dealing with human beings. TS does a very good job at walking a difficult line, but it's also understandable that not each member of TS will posses the same competence at walking that line. Just for you, I will stop calling stupid people "retards". My intention, when flaming, is not to offend people with slurs, and I had no idea "retard" was a slur. I've never been exposed to the negative stigmatism you refer to, and I've never been one to get on the Politically Correct bandwagon anyway. Go figure. There are plenty of other synonyms up there I like the sound of... cretin just has a nice ring to it. Also, regarding that witness/myob remark. That's advice, not a demand. You're right, it is a public forum, and if you want to flame me for being a dick to someone else I am angry at, feel free. Bring tissue.

Alright, I wasn't there for this incident (though I was there for the initial break), however I find some things rather odd here. Shriners are known for not inviting anyone on their raids. This in itself doesn't bother me, do your own thing, have at it guys. However, don't come back and complain that you guys aren't getting invited on raids, that just makes no sense given your stance on inviting others. Dakor/Ice don't invite many on their raids, but they don't bitch when they don't get invited either. You can't have it both ways. So since you weren't invited you decided to crash on in there because you wanted gear???? Think about it from another perspective....if you were in fear and others came busting in, how would you react? I'm guessing you would have reacted simularly to the people there. And another thing, those people were not there for days, we broke the plane (Midnight Sojourn with one group from DG). The peeps there at that time were replacements, who, with respect for proper etiquet, ASKED to come in. Now, not everybody who asks to get in gets in (obviously). However, the other people who didn't get in did not just come barging in. Also, you had to expect the reaction you got....you didn't really think you'd go on in and those people would say nothing to you (I'm sure that TS would say something if someone came barging in on their raids). Ok, I was going to keep out of this thread as I spoke up more than usual in a few others lately but I cant resist any more. I plan to respond to several points brought up by more than a few different people. First of all many folks are now talking about cooperation and getting along and planning. Well I for one have tried asking to come on a plane run, been turned down lots too or just ignored. Well screw that, I am done with being excluded. I think many of the Shriners feel this way also. Fine you don't want our help till you fail and need us to come help you off the plain. Ok that's just swell. Well we are to a point where we want and need higher level gear and are in a position to do many things guild only so I do not plan to beg any more trips from barely adequate organizers and players who are going to a plane for the first time. Regardless of what all of you think, the Shriners are a very good group of players. So we're not your average players. So we get very upset when you trash talk one of us, the guild, or our style of play. Well you reap what you sow and we all have fairly acidic senses of humor and lash-like tongues. I personally feel as though I have been backed into a corner by many other players and several other guilds. I am more than ready to come out scratching, clawing, and ripping out nut-sacks with my teeth if need be. I fear my enjoyment of the game is at stake and I do not plan to be the one to sacrifice my 45 days of total play time on this character because YOU do not like me or my guild. I am tired of having 18 to 24 high level Shriners have to go do something silly like move in on over-camped areas simply because every decent experience spot for higher levels is already camped and our plans made days ago to go to a Plane are shot down because a group of 35 or 40 players is trying to break in and started 6 hours ago and cant get it done from bad luck or most often incompetence. I am exasperated and I am beginning to feel that its Shriners for me and damn few else. *** Also after re-reading this I must say I am not tyring to make threats or to say the shriners will not work with others. I am saying its almost to a point where there will be no going back if everyone keeps doing stuff ot piss everyone else off. If we are going to fix it lets do it now. *** It is long past do for an in game meeting between all the guild leaders on this server. Talk to the GM'S. Make it happen with or without GM help. Next item. Hell yes EVERYONE flames too damn much. Me too but I just cant stand it when we get criticized by people who just want the verbal fistfight, or worse have no idea about the situation. I often jump the gun out of anger or what I feel is righteous indignation, only to become aware later of new facts and have to moderate my comments. AKA with Morlox just recently. At least I had the Balls to ask him directly what happened and admit I was a bit out of line. (but damn if I will take back the ass comment Morlox…you misquoted me and got me in trouble man). Entirely too many folks out there seem to delight in causing trouble and fomenting dissent, that's my job and you just leave it to me. I am not malicious about it and never single out anyone for long, and I am usually wrong anyhow and have to apologize. Ok last thing. Get off Gerome's case. He does not need me to speak for him nor flame any of the silly folks that try to win a battle of insults with him. These problems with Planes are getting frustrating...I know everyone is feeling it. Just a piece of advice about talking with each other. (which i doubt ANYONE will listen to) a) Talk calmly b) Try not to get mad c) Dont assume that they have no point automatically d) Listen to what they say e) Try to see it from their point of view f) If they dont understand, explain it 3 different ways. 
Believe me, it does help. If anyone disagrees with me over this....WHY????
