I love letting people know what is actually dropping (erm...cleric armor..erm), so here is list of stuff which dropped in an about 8 hr raid: Indocilite Bracer - lionfist Cleric Gloves - Katz Cleric Arms - Tuan Cleric Boots - Dryn Cleric Boots - Hopson Cleric Boots - Burro Monk Mask (Maestro) - Toloc Ashenbone Axe - Holybright We took down a significant portion of the zone, including the Maestro, and had a great time.

I knew someone was going to bring that back. I posted it as a server first type thing, just to make everyone aware of the existance of the new weapons. Posting general armor drops, to me, is like posting when you get a Ykesha in lower guk(well, maybe not that drastic). If/when someone drops Mayong Mistmoore I hope they post here what he dropped but I dont think we need to know about the nightshade wreaths, oppaline earings and other MM gear they get along the way? You know Vendrix, I don't know if you are comparing planar armor drops to regular zone drops in order to stroke your own ego or just to make the people who got the stuff last night and the night before feel somehow lessened, but either way, instead of congratulating them you of course just have to piss all over 'em. Kudos to you, pal, great attitude! And people wonder why Da'Kor has a bad public image. Is it so difficult to just post a "congratulations" and be on your way, or better yet, just shut your rampant pie hole and not post anything at all? Maybe for you planar armor is common but for the other 99.9% of the server who's getting into the planes for the first few times, it's a pretty big friggin' deal, just like it was for Da'Kor the first few times they went in. Keep on posting Ablazen and others. Personally, I like to hear when my friends get some kick ass loot. And I know the feeling fo receiving something from the planes when you dont get to go to often...its a pretty good feeling. These people are just stating their happiness. Dont challenge them and jump on them. Give them a moment of pride, jeez.

We actually had a ridiculous amount of peeps up there. Midnight Sojourn, LoV and a few others were in Wednesday night when Halpo and I were pulling for them, then last night those groups and the Shriners both wanted to do Hate so we combined forces. Think at the top we had 41 peeps, with one hell of a pulling crew ... Toloc and I as pullers with Toadhammer and Chaya as the chainers and poor Katz having to constantly regroup our sorry /q'ing asses and rebuff Tol and I _files/smile.gif) Only one
pull disaster (ashenbone pet was late to the part and brought friends)

Although Vendrix was sarcastic, and unnecessarily condescending about the loot list post, Chai, I don't think he was quite "pissing" on anyone. Unlike you, he wasn't calling names and posting personal insults (that's what I'd call "pissing on someone"). Mind you, there may be nothing wrong with doing either, but don't falsely call him out on it, and then do it yourself. As far as you and Jirith quoting Vendrix and Ogmuk: posting loot lists from two raids out of a hundred does not equal posting loot lists every day from every raid and dating them. I think that was Vendrix's point at least. Generally though, I agree with you... it makes people happy to get planar loot (especially if it's their first time) and it's cool to try to share that with the server. It is bad attitude on Vendrix's part to complain about it... BUT I don't think he was personally insulting, and neither should you be. And to be completely honest, I can kinda see where he's coming from (not with the attitude, but the initial question) ... da/ice/friends get lots of loot every day and tend to keep quiet about it... it is kinda funny to us that to some people each piece is a huge frickin deal and they need to let the entire server population know about it. Don't think there's anything rude or insulting about that... And yes, we are aware that it used to be that way for us in the past too - and I think even more so than to the new crews, because our pieces were usually the first ever on the server, and not just the first ever for us as individuals. You mentioned the references some of our people made to the crew that was in before us in PoF calling them gimps. Well, to be honest, what's wrong with making fun of them a bit? (Yes, that's what it was, nobody was trying to be personally insulting, just making fun of them. You of all people should see that. If you refuse to, 'tough titties'.) First of all, a lot of these people were insulting to us when we offered our help. Second, once they actually let us in, while we were trying to help, a lot of these people were also constantly spamming us with annoying tells whenever we were trying to fight. I don't mean a tell here or there, I mean, "Welcome to Everquest. Landar tells you 'blah blah blah'" Third, while we were trying to do CR, some of these people were logging in inside the zone, endangering us, and ignoring our pleas to log out. We feel annoyed about their attitude and their actions towards us, and so we take a few shots at them and make fun of them. This is something that to me is hardly a huge wrongdoing, and I hope you agree. In the end, after talking to that crew, we realized that it was all just misunderstandings, as usual. Can we still make fun of them for messing up and doing silly things? I'd hope so. As far as the argument about giving Uini a crap storry about a bugged zone... I've never heard anything about this, and any amount of yelling back and forth (i.e. A:"These are facts!" B:"No, No, THESE are facts!") is gonna get us exactly nowhere. So let's end this thread on that note... Vendrix did display bad attitude... but he didn't deserve personal insults and name-calling. The bugged zone complaint to Uini rumor is just that - a rumor... leave it at that. The gimp references made by some people are just people making fun of people for doing silly things. That's all. If you read into it and try to make a huge issue out of it, your loss. The boards have been cleaning up nicely... let's not start any more flamewars. Thanks kzz

I'm emphasizing that the *story* keeps *changing* every time. Those who cleared the zone, those who helped CR, who zoned in when, who helped who, who was insulting to who, who sent tells, what works, what don't, motives, who had rightful claim on the zone at the time, and ON and ON and ON. You have to admit, Kzzern, the tone and the flavor has changed. Read your previous post and you at least implied that what you had were observations. I tried to downplay and counter some of them, for secondhand information is shady at best. Now, in a new thread, they are far more than impressions, but it also sounds even worse than before. How did one event, which occurred a week ago, change? The post wasn't directed at you, but anyone who is continuing to drag the last event around the board. I said the axe was swinging both ways, did I not? People on the initial raid and subsequent raid are both tainting the event with their own impressions, which by now have changed dramatically in a heated debate. Whether this be due to a better understanding of the facts or posts made in a heated state, I don't know... (which I doubt it is due to enchanced understanding, as continued postings only draw the truth farther and farther away). And yes, I do believe that many things in your post is an exaggeration. For once you admit that all you have are impressions (hearsay, I believe a court would say), a bit of credibility is lost. Note, I am not saying you have lost credibility, because you seem to be an upstanding person, but the storyline does. When I stated that what I knew were simply things that others told me (in the post you have linked), I was clearly referring to the insults that were (I guess supposedly) thrown at our ppl. I stated however that I believed what I was told because I trust the source implicitly. In the linked post I said nothing about what happened during our actual raid. I never stated that anything else was second-hand information. The parts about ppl spamming us with tells, and logging/running into fear are not second-hand... I saw them with my own eyes. Just try and be a bit less condecending and snobbish. I am real sad you are bored with the plane's and Dragons. Move on to another friccing game then. Let the server have a bit of self respect where they do not compair themselves to you and your "point system". No one cares but you all. The rest of us just want a shot. And we are a bit upsett that we can never get an open shot at a dragon or god with your guild arround. It is pure luck you are where you are.
