Plane
stealing has started on EM, and what a surprise it was the
shriners...
Last night I was in plane of fear with 10 guildmates and about 12 other people. We were going good and repop started on us. Someone zoned in unannounced and got us all killed though, so we logged to chat and began planning anew. Ridas managed to gate(he forgot to bind in PoF) and when we log back on and all get rezzed, he mentions that there is an army of Shriners outside the portal. Revel gives Dakk a tell and notifies him there is already a group in PoF. About this time someone falls off the ledge, agroes a scareling, and most of us die again. As I am sitting in Grobb awaiting a rez, Kaane tells the guild wauke has just zoned in alone, and he again tells him not to bring his guild in there is already a raid there. Pallys begin reviving and cleric is about to gate back into PoF when all the sudden 6 shriners zone in, fight a little, train the safe ledge, wipe out our 3 rez-able paladins, and die themselves. Adasmial(our only cleric left) has to eat dinner and is done for the night. This leaves us with 20 or so corpses in PoF, as well as 6 or 7 TS corpses. No clerics are bound there. The zone is in the process of repopping. We're fucked. Almost 2 hours later we are all congregated at the portal, and 3 shriner groups decide to break in and try to get a cleric bound. By this time, all of our corpses are unrezzable so all our people have to wait for all the portal mobs to be cleared before they can loot. When TS rushes the zone, I sup camo, SoW, and rush in myself. I grabbed my corpse, looted up, and sup camoed again. I was about to /ooc ok here and ready to help break it for CR when someone trained the ledge. Here I am having been sitting for two minutes in full gear talking to the guild trying to get a plan together and right as someone trains the ledge I get the about to appear thing. I hit camp, the scareling sits at the edge of the ledge within poking range and I get to 10 before I appear and am summarily agroed, at which time I run off the ledge to get the mob away so it will not be in the camp. I die and immediately I get two tells accusing me of training the ledge, which I found a bit silly considering I had been in the zone on the ledge for 2 minutes, had already looted my corpse, chatted with guildmates, and had time for sup camo to wear off before it came to the ledge, as well as the fact training the ledge was exactly what the shriners did to us(intentionally or unintentionally was never determined). By this time I am tired and pissed off, and I lost my level so I can no long sup camo so I log at about 2:30 with Tarsis still trying to get a foothold and about 15 people without their corpses. I log on at 8:30 this morning, get some help killing the specs(THANK YOU SO MUCH GOLDLEAD :P) and Cynd and she is nice enough to sup camo me. I ninja my way to the ledge(boy dodging shiverbacks and fetid fiends is invigorating) find my corpse has not been dragged yet, ninja back down to where I died, and drag to the ledge, loot up, camo(normal <frown>) and camp. I saw a lot of my guildmates' and other people's corpses, so apparently the shriners did not get a foothold last night. All of this could have been avoided if A) the person who zoned in unannounced hadn't done it(he will remain anonymous because I believe it was unintentional) or B) the shriners had not been waiting outside the portal for an opportunity to rush in and steal the plane. As far as I know noone who was there had ever done anything to the shriners, so I guess from here on out everyone will have to put a guard at the portal to notify you when they are about to attempt a steal. Seeya ingame and if anyone can give me a TP outta fear I would appreciate it. Gilg. PS, As soon as Chai logged on(apparently he was unaware of this steal) an attempt at helping with corpse recovery was made, at least their guildleader seems to be a nice enough guy....

Listen, dipshit. You guys got owned, not our fault. We get to the gate, that night, noone is there. We send in a scout, who tells us the zone was empty, and there were two mobs TOTAL spawned. Given that info, we got our raid together. Then we get inside, and start getting tells about how you have a raid in progress. At this point, I'd like to point out that you ARE the boy who cried wolf. Maybe you had a raid, maybe you didn't. We can't tell cause you claim to have "dibs" on everything all the time. So yes, we ignore you as standard procedure; hell I'd wager more than half of the guild has you on their /ignore list. We continue our plans based on premise A) no PC's in zone, B) no PC's at gate to fear, C) scout says zone is broken. We get inside, and start killing the few mobs that have spawned. Surprise, two of your naked crew strolls by uninvis and brings 2 extra scarelings with it. I mez one of them, and you fuckers wake it up. Yeah, we go down hard after that. We then switch from break/pillage mode to CR mode. Having two seperate CR efforts proved perilous, as we would go in, CR, and start getting set up and one of you dipshits would train. Lemme tell you something about Fear that you appear to have no fucking clue about: When you get agro'd you stand still and take it on the fucking chin, you do NOT RUN FOR THE FUCKING CAMP AND KILL EVERYONE ELSE. Our people know this. No one trained your fucking camp. That said, noone stole "your" plane. Even if you think we did, we're not the first to enter a plane under dubious conditions - have we forgotten the gazillion posts here about Da`Kor and Ice Clan already? But you're right, it's obvious there are more people interested in the planes than one squad at a time, and eventually we're going to have to follow the lead of other servers and start sharing them.

Well I wasn't there so I can't say what actually happened, but I WAS on the phone at the time with one of my Clerics that was there and there WERE people inside and had been there for a few hours. I even had a message on my answer'n machine when I got in tell'n me to come to PoF as soon as I got home, which is normally around 6pm CST, but I had to work late, so they were there at least by then. Everyone also knows that it's procedure to /q out if there are bad problems or if CT gives someone the finger. Well could your scout have possibly zoned in while everone was /q'd??? If everyone has to /q does that now mean that the next group can just come in sense no one was "in" the zone at that time? Everyone is gonna have to learn to share and work together though. I have a good stratagy that I feel certain I can pull off and do PoF with only 18 people, but it has to be done exactly as I have planed out and with only the classes I call for. I'm also more than willing to do this and then call in people to come get their class specific armor then gate them out so they can get their Planes Armor and get out with no worry about safty and level loss. I would love to do this for everyone on the server so that everyone gets some planes stuff. The problem is get'n the teams together that consist of people that are not selfish and willing to do this also. I figure I'll never see that happen *frowns*

They got rocked, they posted that some non-shriner the was also not on the raid trained them. After that they appeared to have given up, and when we got there, not knowing about the decimated raid, we had our scout go in. He was in for quite some time, it wasn't a /q drill.

here is a copy of the post I made under another thread. hmmm.... I was the puller for the two nights that I was there, so I have a pretty good idea what happened. We did the planes for about 2 full days, the raid started on saturday and I ended my stay after pulling about 80% of the zone at about 3 am pst on sunday. In the morning i got up and checked with me fellow guildmembers and found out that some of them were still there, So i got back there and continued to pull for another good 6 - 8 hours. We were doing so good that we actually had to wait for stuff to respawn in order to get any kills. Now to get to the bad part, as we all know All Good Things Must Come to An End. It all started when I had an unfortunate accident while pulling dread (Kaane, someone screamed) I was awaiting my corpse being retrieved and was watching the situation from my friends monitor who was in there as well. The person who was getting my body got attacked by a scareling that just repoped, we had someone else pull it of him and bring it to camp. We were in the process of dispatching it, when my corpse retriever got up and started heading towards camp. Unfortunately he did not see he had one other mob just respawn on him, and he pulled it to camp. Fighting 2 mobs wasn't that bad, we could of easily killed them, but our luck wasn't there with us. During the fight, a ranger who we had on standby in the feerot decided that we "needed" help and zoned in unannounced bringing 2 more aggroed mobs to camp. To make the long story short, we got wiped out. I got a res and was waiting for the cleric to res everyone else, but a lone scareling charged into us, bringing the entire corpse retrieval effort to a halt. I survived that and was FD'd at the camp waiting for the cleric to return, at that time Tarsis SK named Wauke decided to take a stroll through the zone. When he arrived in zone, I repeatedly told him that we were doing a CR mission and that he shouldn't have zoned in. To make the matter worse He msg'd me few hours ago and asked me if we needed any extra people, and I Clearly Remember telling him we had plenty and as soon as some left we would let him know. So I am tired of all the Lame excuses that the shriners make about not knowing that we were in there. They were all msg'd numerous times by various individuals, ignoring all the tells. Which in my opinion is just plain Rude. On the other hand, they actually did not TRAIN us. They sure did impede our CR mission though, instead of our own team now we had to worry about them too. After an a colorful Language exchange, I got together with some of their members and tried again to gain a foothold at the safe ledge. After 2 unsuccesful attempts, they had enough for the night and we all logged. The conclusion of this mess is. 1. We have about 25+ people still with corpses in the zone. 2. Tarsis Shriners did indeed know there was a Raid in Progess. 3. They ignored all our attempts at communication, until the very end. 4. They actually did not Train us. Gilgamel - Read my post on the main board under Avii's thread, I find your comments even more laughable than those made by Bubu and Kaane. At least theirs had a little bit of truth to some of them. Get your facts straight. A) We didn't train the ledge. B) We weren't trying to steal the plane, we were trying to setup a seperate camp as far away from your crew as possible. Question... If ya'll were go'n in to set up another camp was anyone asked / told about this on the team that was there already? It is possible that there could have been an joint effort in help'n set up another camp instead of the crap that happened. Just curious.

I posted this on the other board thingy too.. just too damn lazy to retype or come up with something different ) wauke, I'm just wonderng if you'll be enforcing a dress code on the plane of fear too? any more mandates from up on high? personally I'd like to see cattie runnin around in a catholic schoolgirl outfit.. ) now I was there (kaane and I play in the same room, he watches my monitor when he gets DT's from pulling) and I was getting sleepy so I camped out when I was hearing the shouts about possible people moving in on our plane, decided a screaming match wasn't what I was up for..ect.. I'm not going to make a comment on what did or did no happen after I left because I was not there and we were doing very well when I camped. however, I am curious why you think you have gained sudden authority as lord and master of all things planar and good.. personally I don't give a rats ass if you think "planes WILL be shared" or if "this IS the way it'll be done in the future".. and I bet most of the other guilds out don't care either. now I've never met you, and being the apathetic ogre I play, I probably wont care when I do, so keep your madates to your guild, and if someone is in fear or hate or air or a dragon run and they tell you to stay out, I suggest doing it. even if you don't agree. because I'm pretty sure you'll be screaming so hard you're left arm starts tingling when some other guild decides to take a chunk of your plane after you've broken it. so, in the end, I'm stuck in pof, seemingly the only one who made it alive... and we have a major CR ahead of us.. so lets get our bodies and once no one's hard earned crap decays. then you and gerome and bubu and gil and whoever else posted flames on this board can continue your dick waving till the cows come home!

Hmm, I didn't realize that having the plane broken for over 36 hours and happening to die when people zone in unexpected and unnanounced and train you, constituted being owned. Omisan kept saying they would make things right after everyone got massacred. and the shriners did try to set up a camp to res, but the point is, either they knew people were there and didn't care, or the people who recieved direct tells (Dakk, and Wuake) decided not to pass that info along once they were told the situation. Either way, according to Geromes logic, if I zone in, rush the ledge while they are there, train them and they all die, thats not my fault, they just got owned by the zone. Grokx

As mentioned by Kalten on another link, credit should be given to those who broke the zone... and guess what, it wasn't you. I've already responded to the comments regarding training, as have people who know something about what happened... it wasn't us that trained anyone. We knew you were there, as stated previously, we intended on setting up a camp across the zone. And I'll be damned if it wasn't Grokx who got ressed by one of the "evil" shriners so he could loot his shit and camp out. Here's to hoping people get their shit out after tomorrow's downtime, and hoping that people can actually figure out some facts before they start bitching and moaning next time. Wauke (TS) is my favorite troll, although I'm pretty partial to Ragnerok (TS). Varabus (Wrath of the Fallen)is hot too. Oink (I forget, sorry, I'm a loser) gets cuter everytime I see him.
